Two minutes walk from Exit 8, Roppongi Station, Tokyo Oedo Line.

A few blocks from the center of Roppongi, on a quieter street, Keystone Club is just the right size club. There are raised seats back by the bar and tables (shared when it gets crowded) close to the stage. Circular group seating to the side

The food is Indian, unusually for a jazz club, and excellent. No need to stop by somewhere else beforehand for a quick bite. Curry and jazz go together perfectly as it turns out!

Drinks are up to Roppongi standards, a fraction on the pricey side, but then again, so are rents in the area. There is a great selection of cocktails, whisky, wine, and beer.

Service is prompt, so you don’t have to divide your attention from the music. And for those who love acoustics, the sound system is excellent.

This is one of the newer clubs in Tokyo, but they have really worked hard to make a great venue for showcasing some of the best jazz in the city.
